DEFINITION
  • Multiple nets are deployed on a single frame with opening and closing capabilities. The ship is stopped. The nets are sent down closed and opened and closed one at a time as the nets are hauled back to the surface. This is done electronically or with pressure releases. Examples of gears that can be deployed that way include the Multinet and the Be net.
